Road Policy Committee Minutes
October 28, 2009
Call to Order: Planning Board Chairman Bruce Beane called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm
Roll Call:
Committee Members - Rosemary Colombi, Al Gombas, Steve Moscicki, Jim Trudell, Bruce Beane, Elaine Sherry(6:10), Lisa Linowes(6:20)

Bruce Beane opened the meeting and read the minutes from the September 23rd meeting . A motion to accept as read was made by Steve Moscicki, and a second by Rosemary Colombi. The motion passed.
The group reviewed the composite map that has been developed by Cartographics for the town. This map will be a helpful guide for the boards researching roads but is intended only to be officially used for tax assessing purposes.
Bruce Beane read an e-mail that he sent to the Local Government Center in Concord N.H. requesting information which might assist the group in developing a road policy for building on Class VI and Private Roads.
Bruce read the reply from Atty. Dave Connell from the Govt. Center and stated that Atty. Connell advised the Boards to research the State Govt. Website for the information they requested.
Bruce stated that he researched the site and felt that the Policy and Procedures from the Town of Epping N.H. seemed to be most adaptable with minor changes, to the Town of Lyman's needs. The group agreed that we could use the Epping Policy as a basis for our Regulation.
The group proceeded to read and make modifications to the Epping Policy. They will continue to work on the Epping Policy at our next meeting.
A motion to Adjourn was made by Jim Trudell and seconded by Rosemary Colombi. Motion Passed : Meeting Adjourned at 8:05 PM.
Next Meeting will be on November 18, 2009.
