Fire Permits Required by Law

Options for obtaining a required State of NH Fire Permit

  Fire Permits are required for all outside burning unless the ground is covered with snow.

• Contact your local Forest Fire Warden (Brett Presby at 838-6689) or Deputy Warden (Richard Hubbard at 838-6110) to obtain a written fire permit.
• Utilize the convenience of the Online Fire Permit System.
  • A $3 fee to the website operator will be charged.

Call Dispatch at 787-2111 prior to any outdoor burning other than a cooking fire or camp fire.
